N-Ethyl-2-Pyrrolidone is a colorless to slightly yellow liquid, with a faint amine odor. NEP is a strong polar organic solvent with high chemical stability, weak alkalinity, high solubility, low stream pressure and low dielectric constant and other properties. It can be used as highly selective solvent, catalyst and cationic surfactant.
